Cuauhtzin Gutiérrez is a multi-hyphenate Los Angeles born and raised storyteller. He’s created commercial, branded, editorial, digital and scripted content for studios, publishers, and brands. Trusted across the creative industry by NBCUniversal, Telemundo, Peacock, FX Networks, FOX Sports, Bravo, Levi’s, and Bulova.
Gutiérrez has held roles in media and entertainment from Production Assistant to Executive Producer. His craft stretches across genres and disciplines - working on everything from scripted comedy to sports documentaries. He started his career shooting and editing skate and surf videos, and has since helmed productions as a Director-Producer-Editor-Cinematographer for some of the biggest media brands in the world.
In-house at FOX and NBC Sports he covered major tentpoles: Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, Summer and Winter Olympics, and the World Cup. At FX Networks he produced content on the award-winning marketing team and managed streaming for shows including American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, The Americans, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Fargo.
He later moved to publishing and served as Head of Studio at Evolve Media - developing and directing editorial and branded creative for a dozen verticals. Staying in publishing, Gutiérrez landed as Head of Production in New York at a rising media start up called Futurism. In this role he oversaw video across departments for scripted, branded, editorial, and led a team of writer / producers.
Currently residing on the Eastside of Los Angeles, Gutiérrez launched his own production house working with clients across genres to bring ideas from concept to reality.
